The number of people that drink coffee and/or tea is enormous. There will always be a demand for caffeine.
According to a study, compounds in coffee inhibit human islet amyloid polypeptide, which is a substance linked to diabetes. Previous studies have shown that drinking four or more cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 50 percent.
It is not just diabetes that coffee can be used to help prevent. It may also reduce depression in women. Another study showed that men who drank six or more cups of coffee per day were found to have a 20% reduction in developing prostate cancer.
